Still kicking...literally
PostedHey--I know I haven't posted for a while, but we are alive and kicking (some more than others), and really busy. Today was the first day in a while that Isaac woke up without a fever, so we're kind of focusing on getting Isaac well before Caleb arrives. Today was also the first day he started really displaying any symptoms besides the fever, so I'm kind of relieved that we don't have to guess so much anymore why he isn't feeling well (that's what we've had to do so far). At least he's doing much better now--hopefully he will gain an appetite again soon.
Only three more days of work for me! I will miss my kids! Today I typed up our Monday newsletter, and I wrote a note to the kids/parents saying when my last day was/how much I'll miss them all/etc. It was sad! You really grow attached to them after 8 months--even the behavior problems.
Glad you guys are doing okay. Hope Isaac is better soon! I know what you mean about saying goodbye to your kids. I left classrooms of kids many times and it was so hard. I worked with 2 1/2-6 year olds for 3 years, some that were at school from 7am-6pm..and I had been with some of them from the first day they started at the school until the day they left..I was literally like a second mommy to some of them. It's horrible saying goodbye. But I hope you enjoy some time home and preparing for Caleb!! Hope we can get our potluck in before he comes:)
oh, that is sad, Becki. I'm glad you are getting prepared, though.
Can't wait for Caleb.
Take good care of Isaac. I guess he wouldn't want to come up for atv rides, then...
All I could think of when I read your post is..."Isaac needs his appitite back...what appitite!" I hope you're all better soon.
I keep checking to see if there are any new baby pics! :) Yeah Becki! Yeah Adam! Yeah Meyer's growing family!
No--Isaac eats a ton, he just doesn't eat a wide variety of food.
